Return Policy
Effective Date: November 1, 2026
Last Updated: November 1, 2026
At Wild Rose Virtual Horse Show ("WRVHS," "we," "us," or "our"), we strive to provide an enjoyable, fair, and professionally organized virtual equestrian competition experience for all participants.
Please review our Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy carefully before registering for a competition or purchasing an entry.
1. General Refund Policy
All competition entry fees are generally non-refundable.
Due to the administrative preparation, organization, and resources involved in operating our virtual horse shows, WRVHS does not ordinarily provide refunds for competition entries once payment has been completed.
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Changes in a competitor's personal schedule or availability.
-
A competitor deciding not to participate after registration.
-
Failure to submit a competition video before the published deadline.
-
Inability to participate due to personal circumstances.
-
Horse or rider illness, injury, or unavailability.
-
Incorrect class selection made by the competitor.
-
Dissatisfaction with judging scores, comments, or final placings.
-
Failure to follow published competition rules or submission requirements.
-
Voluntary withdrawal from a competition.
Exceptions may be considered in accordance with Section 2 below.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or other consumer rights provided by applicable law.
2. Entry Transfers and Future Competition Credits
Although WRVHS does not ordinarily issue refunds, we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise.
At our sole discretion, WRVHS may occasionally offer a competitor the opportunity to transfer an unused entry to a future month's virtual horse show instead of receiving a monetary refund.
Such arrangements are considered individually and are not guaranteed.
Important conditions include:
-
Requests must be submitted directly to WRVHS.
-
Approval is determined on a case-by-case basis.
-
A transfer may be declined for any reason consistent with applicable law and our published competition rules.
-
Transfers are subject to the availability of suitable classes in a future competition.
-
Approved transfers generally apply only to the original competitor.
-
Transfers have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for a monetary refund unless required by law.
-
An approved transfer is valid only for the competition month or period specified by WRVHS.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
Previous approval of an entry transfer does not establish an entitlement to future transfers or exceptions.
3. Missed Deadlines and Incomplete Entries
Competitors are responsible for submitting their videos and completing all required registration steps before the published deadlines.
Failure to submit a video, provide an accessible video link, or complete the entry requirements does not ordinarily qualify for a refund or automatic transfer.
WRVHS may, at its discretion, consider an alternative arrangement in exceptional circumstances.
4. Technical Difficulties
Competitors are encouraged to submit entries early to allow sufficient time to resolve potential technical issues.
WRVHS is not ordinarily responsible for missed deadlines caused by individual internet connection problems, device malfunctions, or errors with third-party video-sharing platforms.
If a verified technical issue with the WRVHS website or entry system prevents a competitor from completing an entry, please contact us promptly.
We may offer an alternative submission method, a deadline extension, or another appropriate solution.
Where a technical failure prevents WRVHS from providing the purchased competition service, any applicable statutory refund or other legal remedy will be honoured.
5. Competition Cancellations or Changes
WRVHS reserves the right to postpone, modify, combine, or cancel competitions or classes where reasonably necessary due to circumstances such as:
-
Insufficient entries.
-
Judge unavailability.
-
Technical difficulties.
-
Administrative or operational issues.
-
Unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If WRVHS cancels a paid competition or class and does not provide the purchased service, affected competitors will be offered the refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
Where legally permitted and acceptable to the competitor, an entry transfer to a future competition may be offered as an alternative.
6. Disqualification
Competitors who are disqualified for violating published competition rules, submitting fraudulent or altered videos, or engaging in prohibited conduct are not ordinarily eligible for a refund.
WRVHS may review exceptional circumstances individually, subject to applicable legal requirements.
7. Ribbons, Rosettes, and Physical Awards
Ribbons, rosettes, and other physical awards are generally provided as recognition of competition results and are not eligible for return or exchange simply because a competitor is dissatisfied with their placing, ribbon colour, or award design.
If an award arrives damaged, is defective, or is incorrect due to a WRVHS fulfillment error, please contact us so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.
Where appropriate, WRVHS may arrange a replacement or another remedy consistent with applicable law.
8. Requesting an Exception
If you experience exceptional circumstances and would like to request consideration for a future competition entry transfer, please contact WRVHS.
When submitting a request, include:
-
Your full name.
-
The competition month.
-
The class or classes entered.
-
A brief explanation of the circumstances.
-
The requested alternative arrangement.
All requests will be reviewed individually.
WRVHS is under no obligation to approve a discretionary transfer or credit unless required by applicable law or an existing contractual commitment.
9. Payment Disputes
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or have experienced a payment processing error, please contact WRVHS so we can investigate the issue.
This policy does not restrict any rights you may have to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect transaction through your payment provider.
10. Policy Changes
WRVHS reserves the right to update this Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy as needed.
Changes will be published on our website with an updated revision date.
Material changes will not be applied retroactively to existing purchases in a manner that unlawfully affects a competitor's rights.
